Allô-Chorta: An Alert and Reporting System by DGSN ALGERIE
Allô-Chorta is a free Android application designed to provide an alert and reporting system to the citizens of Algeria. The app is offered by the National Security and is based on the use of a smartphone. It primarily allows users to request help and interventions from the police services by launching an alert in the event of a person in danger. The alert can be sent via instant photo taking using the front and rear camera of the smartphone, along with a voice message.
In addition, Allô-Chorta enables users to report a salient fact such as a traffic accident, obstacle on the public highway, theft, degradation, natural disaster, aggression, kidnapping, etc. The competent police services will take cognizance of the facts reported in real-time, allowing effective and immediate intervention and relief. The app also allows users to transmit a voice message to the police department, report to the police a highlight in a public place by sending one or more photos captured instantly or delayed from the image gallery, and to be contacted by the police services if necessary.
